Layering the Bomb Pop Drink

The bomb pop can use a number of flavors and ingredients to achieve the same red, white, and blue result.

  • Instead of lemonade, opt for a hard lemonade, equal parts freshly squeezed lemon juice shaken with honey liqueur or orange liqueur, or a coconut rum with a splash of lime juice.
  • Swap a raspberry liqueur for the raspberry vodka and grenadine. Alternatively, you can also use a cherry vodka on its own, so long as it is red, or color it with a splash of cherry juice. You can also infuse your own flavored cherry vodka at home.
  • For the blue layer, you can use a blue-hued blue raspberry vodka or blueberry vodka, or consider shaking the citron vodka with a blue sports drink.

Bomb Pop Cocktail Garnishes

This over-the-top drink could get away without the adornment of a garnish, but you can still add to the mystique and look of the drink.

  • Add a decorative shiny sparkler decoration as a garnish.
  • Rub the rim of the glass with a lemon or lime wedge and dip the rim into a blue or red sugar.
  • Pierce a raspberry with a cocktail skewer or alternate raspberries and cherries on a cocktail skewer.
  • Use a citrus garnish, such as a lemon wheel or slice.

The Alcoholic Bomb Pop

While the bomb pop cocktail is quite popular, the bomb pop shot is quite popular as well. Much like the sibling layered Astro Pop shot, it'll be delightfully popular.

Bomp Pop Shot

Gulp--those nostalgic bomb pop flavors go down fast with this far too easy-to-drink shot.
